I wrote this right after my graduation ceremony in 2018. My mom promised me a cheesecake beforehand and I spent the entire time ruminating over what it would taste like over the actual event in front of me. When I got home I had a bomb ass Walmart cheesecake so good that I wrote a song about it and posted it on my old Soundcloud under my legal name.
lyrics
Got lots of friends that'll float away
Past this very special day
Wearing ugly outfits we can't keep
We're all out of the cup we were left to steep
Walking up to a chorus of cell phones
Guess what's on my mind?
Once this is all over I know how I'll spend my time
Graduation cheesecake
Graduation cheesecake
Some girl up front is giving a speech
All I can see is the cake I'm 'bout to reach
Caps and tassels are so old hat
Just right to the left then they're tossed in the vat
Shakin' hands with the big league tricksters
Guess what's on my mind?
Once this is all over I know how I'll spend my time
Graduation cheesecake
Graduation cheesecake
